This measure aims to encourage students to improve their physical fitness and balance study and exercise time. The university plans to organize unified sports activities, such as fun runs, to promote participation from all students. I then discussed the importance of science and technology competitions and the timing of applying for innovation and entrepreneurship projects, emphasizing the contribution of extracurricular science and technology activities to GPA and methods for improving application efficiency using AI tools. I suggested students complete their applications by March 30th, encouraged communication with advisors to improve project quality, and pointed out that skillful use of tools can significantly improve efficiency. Regarding Industrial Engineering competitions, including the 2026 Industrial Engineering Lean Management Competition (university-level competition) and the IE Bright Sword Competition, I emphasized that although not Category A competitions, participation can accumulate experience beneficial for future higher-level competitions. For those considering postgraduate studies in a different field, mechanical engineering and human factors design are good options, as detailed in previous class meetings.
