Recently I have learned some scientific papers in my specific research field in detail, which focuses on the issue of the prevention of MSDs when using mobile devices. Here is one paper published on one SCI journal named Applied Ergonomics, which title is “The influence of a semi-reclined seated posture on head and neck kinematics and muscle activity while reading a tablet computer”. In this paper, there are two obvious mistakes in the notes of figure 1, which is presented on the screenshot below.

The original texts are as follows:

But when you look at the four pictures above, you can clearly see that in the above description sentences, the descriptions of the corresponding pictures on top left and bottom left are reversed. In the second sentence, there is an obvious mistake with the wrong spelling of the word “market” instead of “marker”. So the correct sentences are as follows:

I wonder why a SCI journal will report such low-level errors without being checked out. It is really hard to imagine.
